Black cherry is a fruit rich in anthocyanin, an antioxidant. Black cherry is often made into cherry juice to remedy gout.
Gout is a form of arthritis, an inflammation of the smaller joints due to having excessive uric acid in the bloodstream. The uric acid crystallise around the small joint, causing swelling, pain and inflammation.
Black cherry is well known to be able to reduce the uric acid and gout tendencies.
