Moringa, native to India, has high nutritive values and almost all parts of the tree are eaten or used as ingredients in traditional herbal medicines.
It is used as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic and antimicrobial agent. It is also rich in protein, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and it has been used to combat malnutrition, especially among infants and nursing mothers.
